Does Kellogg's Corn Flakes contain GMO Corn?

Due to allergies, our family cannot eat anything with GMO products. Does Kellogg's use GMO Corn, GMO Wheat, GMO Rice in their cereals?

  • Thank you for your question, Andrea! The typical GMO crops are soy, corn, canola, cottonseed, and sugar beet. Wheat is non-GMO crop, and rice used in the US is non-GMO.Since we purchase the majority of our US crops from US farmers-and genetically modified crops have been grown in the US for the past two decades-our foods likely include ingredients derived from genetically modified crops in the same proportion they occur in the United States food supply. I hope this information is helpful.

  • In other words, you don't care about the health of your customers by selling cereal derived by gene manipulation that have not been proved by any long term studies to be safe. Manipulated foods should be guilty until proven innocent, rather than waiting for people to be sickened and then recall them. Protecting your customers first should be the slogan above profit making!
